Therapist Description:Psychedelic experiences can turn your perspective in amazing ways. Even an easy, not-mind-blowing trip can leave you with wonder about how to be with what you’ve experienced. And, then , well, a ‘bad trip’ is hard, and can seem to stick with you way beyond the trip, like everything is upside down now… anxiety, depression, great uncertainty… and it’s so easy to get ‘hard’ confused with ‘bad’. We can get through hard, even the hardest… and sometimes we need help. I believe we have an innate healing intelligence, something in us that knows who we truly are and how to get through the hard struggles of life… including how to turn a rough psychedelic experience into a growth experience. I believe our suffering comes from a basic detachment from this essential Self, and attachments to engrained thoughts and feelings creating distress. My work involves co-creating a holistic approach to problem-solving, emotional regulation, body and energetic movement, and cognitive restructuring… finding wellness and stability. I try to be with you just where you are, through a felt sense of authenticity and empathy for your struggles and joys, your challenges and your strengths. I will listen carefully, without judgement, for what’s going on beneath the content of your stories, hoping to assist you in finding stability, and clarity and direction as you make healthy changes in your life.
