Therapist Description:You are here seeking support for exploring nonordinary states of consciousness: Having had an experience of the Unknown, for example, by means of a psychedelic, one wishes to catalogue and make sense of the experience. Beyond the personal ramifications (which certainly fall into psychedelic integration), however, there is a transpersonal aspect of the “dreamscape” that has been encountered. Multiple times more vivid than your most vivid dream, it pushes your need and capacity to describe it. Our work together is about arousing, nurturing and developing the inner curiosity that gives rise to motivation and a trust in intuition.
This work is also about knowing inner guidance system and maintaining certain inner truths (boundaries). The first step is to know where you are now: To learn the 5 stages of change and the role of Motivational Interviewing. To name which stage you are in. To identify your immediate goal in that stage and set up a Dream Quest or Vision Quest.
It is my intention that the therapy services I provide can help bring people to both open up to more of the fullness of our potentials, and help individuals tolerate and navigate the experience of “groundlessness” – a common quality of nonordinary states of consciousness – which contrasts with the mainstream trend towards definition and specificity.
We are living in a time when there are many existential threats to our collective future, the earth itself, and individual freedoms. We also live in a time of unprecedented access to networks of likeminded others via digital mediums.
