Therapist Description: “Inhale. Exhale. Repeat.” Simple things help us focus while the perspective of another gently reminds us who we really are. As a provider of mental health services for over 35 years and a middle-aged woman, I am able to provide insight through my professional and personal experience. Therapeutic techniques are based in heartful, mindfulness models based on a structure of Cognitive-Behavioral therapy. I believe everyone has inherent and intuitive desires towards positive emotional and physical health, my job is only to remind you of what you already know.
Different perspectives are offered to help you clarify, motivate, while providing accountability for you to move in the direction you wish. I am sensitive to contextual implications of perspective, particularly surrounding the impact of the immediate environment, health, belief systems, spirituality and cultural identification.
