Nicholas Opyrchal

Hello, I provide long and short term psychotherapy working with and supporting psychedelic integration. I am a UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy) and BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) registered psychotherapist and counsellor trained in Transpersonal Integrative Psychotherapy. 

Transpersonal integrative psychotherapy emphasises work with altered states, imagery, dreamwork and the therapeutic relationship and so is an extremely useful way of working when trying to integrate and make meaning from psychedelic experiences.Some of the pioneers of psychedelic psychotherapy such as Stan Grof are important figures in transpersonal psychotherapy. 

As well as my training as a psychotherapist, I also draw on my personal experience of shamanic work and meditation in my practice. I have extensive experience working with other issues such as addiction, depression, anxiety and psychosis.
