Therapist Description:You may seek out depth-oriented psychotherapy or Jungian Analysis when you have hit an impasse in your life. This may be experienced as depression, anxiety, unresolved trauma, relationship issues or somatic complaints. Those who have experienced the numinous power of a psychedelic experience recognize that it can be profoundly healing if the experience is integrated into one’s life.
My expertise and work is grounded in years of in-depth training, education and extensive clinical experience that addresses these concerns. Healing, growth and living an authentic life are dependent on understanding and integrating our life experiences. This process of transformation is most effective in the context of an empathic relationship and a commitment to this unfolding process.
I am a certified Jungian Psychoanalyst with a relational and interactive approach. I serve on the teaching faculty at the C.G. Jung Institute of San Francisco.
My belief is that symptoms are not simply a sign of pathology, but rather a meaningful communication as well about our situation, presenting an opportunity for awareness, growth and transformation.
I have a particular interest in the integration of a depth psychological approach with the life changing spiritual or numinous experiences that may emerge with psychedelics.
